Cook wanted in Naugatuck Valley Planning Region

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cook in Naugatuck Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. The role involves check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
