Pastry baker — Oneida County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pastry baker in Oneida County, New York. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Requirements: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to work early-morning and night shifts On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
