Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Greene County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Six days a week, one day off.
