Join our team: building site helper (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a building site helper in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. The role involves carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up. Ideal candidate: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
