Great opportunity: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Alpena County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding The role involves: • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line 4+ years on the tools preferred.
