Immediate opening: rebar foreman (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Tyler County, Texas. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
