Immediate opening: GMAW welder (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Pawnee County, Kansas. The job is at an automobile body shop. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test The role involves set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
