Press shop operator — Wilcox County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press shop operator in Wilcox County, Alabama. You will be based on the press shop floor. On the job you will handle: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses You should have: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
