Immediate opening: catering cook (Louisiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a catering cook in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Day-to-day duties: • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations 5+ years on the tools preferred. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
