Motor grader operator — Perquimans County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Perquimans County, North Carolina. You will work in an open-cast mine. The role involves: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook Requirements: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Six days a week, one day off.
