Argon welder wanted in Owen County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Owen County, Kentucky. The job is on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
