Ironing operator — Harnett County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an ironing operator in Harnett County, North Carolina. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
