Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lake County, California. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Six days a week, one day off.
