Join our team: we are hiring a dogger in Power County, Idaho. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Day to day you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; read lift plans and method statements before starting; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
