Gas metal arc welder wanted in Desha County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Desha County, Arkansas. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
