Core maker — Searcy County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Searcy County, Arkansas. On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 6+ years on the tools preferred.
