Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Garden County, Nebraska. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
