Join our team: vertical milling machine operator (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Clinton County, New York. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Your main tasks: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Six days a week, one day off.
