Immediate opening: abattoir worker (Georgia)

Join our team: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Gordon County, Georgia. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Day-to-day duties: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings 1+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
