Road roller operator wanted in Inverclyde

Now hiring: we are hiring a road roller operator in Inverclyde, Scotland. You will be based at a landfill site. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise The role involves keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles.
