Now hiring: we are hiring a joiner in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Day to day you will finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,150 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
