We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Cook County, Illinois. You will work at a busy construction site. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate The role involves take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points.
