Single needle operator • McLennan County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in McLennan County, Texas. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams The role involves: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
