Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Canyon County, Idaho. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Day to day you will season and marinate meat on request; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
