Cnc turner — East Baton Rouge Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc turner in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a job-work machining unit. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Day-to-day duties: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) 5+ years on the tools preferred.
