Construction mazdoor • Marshall County, Iowa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Marshall County, Iowa. You will bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean. You should have: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
