Ladle pourer • Yuma County, Colorado

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Yuma County, Colorado. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. You will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
