Great opportunity: stainless steel welder (North Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Buncombe County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
