Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, England. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through We offer £145 per day plus benefits.
