Vacancy available: gtaw welder (Louisiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in East Carroll Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on an industrial construction site. On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Six days a week, one day off.
