Immediate opening: fettler (Missouri)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Wright County, Missouri. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
