Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Decatur County, Iowa. The job is at a precast concrete yard. The role involves set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
