We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Randolph County, West Virginia. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools On a typical shift you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
