Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Shelby County, Kentucky. You will be based in a meat processing plant. The role involves portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry 2+ years on the tools preferred.
