Join our team: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Monroe County, Illinois. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. You will cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
