Scaffolding labourer • Douglas County, Oregon

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Douglas County, Oregon. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. On a typical shift you will dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner. What we are looking for: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
