Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Polk County, North Carolina. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
