Now hiring: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Bullitt County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 3+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
