UPVC window fitter — Lyon County

Join our team: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Lyon County, Iowa. The job is at a glazing and fabrication factory. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) Day-to-day duties: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
