Sheet metal press operator wanted in Causeway Coast and Glens

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Causeway Coast and Glens, Northern Ireland. You will be based at an auto components factory. Your main tasks: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. £2,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
