Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Chippewa County, Minnesota. You will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
