Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Lawrence County, Missouri. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges 6+ years on the tools preferred.
