Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Door County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 1+ years on the tools preferred.
