UPVC welding machine operator • Vermilion County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Vermilion County, Illinois. The role involves: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
