Immediate opening: we are hiring a punch press operator in LaPorte County, Indiana. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. On a typical shift you will clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
