Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Polk County, Oregon. The job is at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Read lift plans and method statements before starting We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
