Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Kazaure, Jigawa State. You will be based on an industrial construction site. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper 6+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
