Vacancy available: we are hiring a glazier in Northumberland, England. You will be based in a mirror and glass showroom. You will work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; replace cracked or broken window panes; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame. You should have: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. £120 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
