Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet The role involves: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits.
