Final inspection operator — Washtenaw County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Washtenaw County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings Requirements: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
